Sept 10th: Bar Harbor #2

Sept 10th:  Wednesday.  Downtown Bar Harbor for our last day.  Geez, this place is so pretty, makes it hard to leave.  Actually went to an Irish Pub on the waterfront.  While Gretchen had fish, Roger deviated and had a roast beef sandwich and Giuness!

Stopped at a junk yard (really, he must have had an acre of "one man's junk) and bought two lobster trap markers.  Gretchen thinks they will look great next to the railroad sign at the campsight back home.
This was Roger's oysters from the night before at the Fish House Grill.  All in favor of going to Bar Harbor for lobster and oysters, raise your hands!!!

And this was Gretchen's fried clams at the Fish House Grill last night.  Back ground is the Lazy's Man Lobster - already shelled that Roger ordered.  He didn't want to go thru the shelling again today!

Guess who?  and so spoiled with his pillow on his cot.  Ready for the fire.

The guys at KOA in Bar Habor.  Trailer behind us is a Michigan State alumni...too bad.

This paper wrapped Gretchen's fish.  Interesting that the article that you can't read is about Grand Forks, ND and the Potato Bowl held there!

When Irish eyes are smiling.....in Bar Harbor, Maine!

She is just so happy with her newly purchased lobster trap bouys.  Ain't they just purdy??
