Sept 3rd: Blowout

Tuesday:  We left Pennsylvania and about an hour later, BANG.....a blowout (inside driver side dual) and we were no way near anything.  After several stops and trying to find a rv tire repair on the GPS, we found a place that could only put on the spare and replace the two house batteries ($320.00 total!) that had gone completely dead.  This tire store did not have in stock the tire needed for an RV.  So off we go to Connecticut, Mystic KOA and arriving late, in the dark.

Blue wished he had finished his tire repair course so he could have changed that tire.

We are exhausted but made it to our 41st state:  Connecticut, the third smallest state - 90 miles wide, 55 miles top to bottom.  We are camping at  beautiful Mystic KOA..... and look forward to a more touristee day tomorrow.
A big bad hole in the tire.

Two very dead batteries....you could not even open the slides!

41st state.

From the I-84 highway, a beautiful church in Connecticut:  Saint Anne for Mothers, built 1906 in French gothic design.
